On Friday, August 6th, Michael Conaln and TJ Doheny will be putting on a show at Falls Park in Belfast, Ireland on ESPN+ with coverage beginning at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT.
Conlan, one of Ireland’s most accomplished amateur fighters of all time, will be looking to prove that he is worthy of world champion opportunities. His last fight against Ionut Baluta left boxing fans unsatisfied with his performance. The close majority decision was warranted given the moments that Conlan opened himself up to various counters from Baluta.
Since then, Conlan has worked with greater intention in the gym and is prepared to make a huge statement come this Friday night.
