Eddie Hearn has announced that Conor Benn tested positive for COVID and is officially out of the fight against Adrian Granados this Saturday. Hearn shared in a video, “Conor Benn has failed a COVID test this morning ahead of his fight against Adrian Granados. We’ll be conducting further PCR tests, but he will be off the card on Saturday.”
The bout between Granados and Benn was to be the first main event of Fight Camp 2, which is a new series put on by Matchroom Boxing at their headquarters in Essex.
It’s possible that the fight can be moved to a later Fight Camp show, depending on the results of Benn’s PCR test.
